In April 2019, in occasion of the European elections, I left for a round-trip across 5 countries (Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Denmark and the UK) trying to meet new friends and document how youth lives outside of Italy. With a call-to-action on social media I invited people to invite me over and host me for a few days or a few hours. Within a couple of days or a coffee break, my mission was to create a bond, an emotional connection with the person and then, following these emotional influences, take their portrait. The whole project is shot with a phone.
